They don’t shy away from the more challenging up-tempo songs of international stars like Adele and Billie Eilish, and even Celine Dion’s French melodies don’t deter them. Here are the highlights of the second episode.
Concerts take place on stage, tears are shed here and there, and some even get a standing ovation from the coaches. One thing is for sure: if Pomilian and Kohli really get tested, we will immediately be left with four scrappers. How fun is their version of Rihanna’s “Stay”?
Celeste (9) He has one big dream: to win The Voice Kids or to become a famous singer like CAMILLE or Pommelien. On weekends she works as an altar boy. “The best part is you can see the priest up close,” she laughs. “She Sings Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics. Metejoor has been playing with a lot of gravitas for some time: “God has seen you – that’s me – welcome to the Metejoor team!”
Very brave. Ezra (14) He chooses “Spaceman” by Sam Ryder. The song is full of high notes during the choruses. What a success! It even earns him a standing ovation. Ezra cherishes his dream of becoming a singer and practices every day to achieve this dream. The four trainers work with him, but he chooses Metegor in the end.
for me (10) He loves pizza, salami, and singing. She is originally from Italy and participates because singing is her biggest dream. She had to wait a long time, but now she has finally appeared on the stage of The Voice Kids. At her blind audition, she wowed the studio with Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers.” Unfortunately, Liana returns home without a coach and seems unbearable for a moment, until she gets a big hug from Metegor.
