TikTok footage shows a man taking a T-shirt with the letter “Z” on it from a rack in the store. The letter is a symbol of the Russian Armed Forces and the man refers to it as a “symbol for killing Ukrainians.” “I hate just seeing it,” he says.
He blames the upset woman for hanging the shirt in the downtown store window. “That’s not a good example of running a store,” he said angrily.

The woman then demands that the Ukrainians leave her store. “You have your opinions and I have mine,” she argues. “It’s my store and I stand up for what I believe.”
When asked whether she supported the war against Ukraine, she answered in the affirmative. “I fully support that,” he said. She also says that her son is fighting in the Russian army. She denies, saying: “It is not Russia’s war against Ukraine.” “It is a war between Russia and the United States. Ukraine has been attacked by the Ukrainians themselves.”
Threats
The photos are circulating on social media and the store manager gets wind of it. There are a lot of threats against her, including on her business’s Facebook page.
There you can also see that women offer a wide range of Russian products. In addition to the famous matryoshka dolls (dolls that fit together), there are pictures of Putin and hats with Soviet stars on them.
