A three-legged bear has terrorized a family in Florida. Big Bear entered their property, peeked into the refrigerator and helped himself to some cold drinks.
The black bear is known within the local community as “Tripod,” and has been seen before, according to local TV station WESH. The last time he was spotted was on the Diglio family’s security camera. The camera shows the bear wandering around the family’s fenced yard and kicking some things. Before he opens some alcohol, he also has something to eat.
“He ate the fish food we had outside next to our aquarium and then went to the bar,” Josori Vanity DiGlio told WESH. “He took three White Claws, drank them and left very satisfied. His favorite flavors are mango and strawberry. White Claws are hard liqueurs (fruit-flavored liqueurs).
Don’t worry
Al-Jusuri was not worried about the bear’s visit. “I was not afraid because we know the bear very well. He lives here. We respect their habitat as much as possible,” she explains.
Vanity Diglio said her 13-year-old son, Joseph Diglio, was home alone when the incident happened. It wasn’t until their dog Bruno started barking at the window that Joseph noticed the three-legged bear messing around outside.
It is not known how the bear lost its paw.
