Today, 108 Assen women have started the 156-kilometre race. With little wind, 14°C and sun, the weather gods were kind to the knights.
The first three lanes over the Col du VAM did not result in any major separation. favorites kept It was almost impossible to escape.
In the last 30 kilometres, some riders crashed after the Peloton took the wrong exit at a roundabout. Lotte Kubicki and Lorena Webbs crossed 20 km from the finish. But both riders were able to come back without too many problems.

Anuska Koster and Kristen Magirus at sea. The four frontrunners were caught less than a kilometer from the finish.
Lorena Webbs was close to nothing in the race. She started from afar, but Elisa Balsamo could no longer defeat her. The Team DSM rider won the Ronde van Drenthe race for the second year in a row.
Lorena Webbs beat world champion Alyssa Balsamo, and our compatriot Lotte Kubiki finished third.
“I had to finish it in the sprint, because my team drove so hard,” says winner Lorena Webbs.
“I started running early. But I wanted to go faster than Elisa Balsamo, so I had space on the left.”
“Right now, Wiebes is the fastest in the entire peloton. I wasn’t actually in the right place when the race started and I really lost it there,” said Strade winner Bianche.
