Many banks have raised their savings rates today. Which players will offer you better saving terms from now on?
Why is this important?
Banks receive a 4% compensation on the capital they hold with the ECB. The interest rate was not very high. This gives financial institutions more scope to give their savers a little extra. Some savings accounts now come with a minimum interest rate of 3 percent.In the news: Many banks increased their savings rates today.
- First of all, there are the three big banks KBC, BNP Paribas Fortis and ING. They announced a few weeks ago that interest rates would rise today. Rival Belvius already changed interest rates on November 1.
- At ING, a regular savings account now earns 2.25 percent. Anyone who puts their money into a Tempo Savings account gets 3 percent. You can save a maximum of €500 per month via the latter account
