Marvel announces fourth Captain America title and releases first image of Harrison Ford | film

filmMarvel Studios announced Tuesday morning via social media that the fourth “Captain America” movie will now be titled “Captain America: Brave New World.” It’s the first full-length film in which actor Anthony Mackie takes on the iconic shield.

This new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe directly follows the events of “Avengers: Endgame” and the recent Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. In it, we saw how the original Captain America (played by Chris Evans) passed the shield on to Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie).

In the Disney+ series we saw a skeptical Wilson reluctantly take the iconic shield in hand. Together with Bucky Barnes (aka Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan), he embarks on an exciting adventure to finally be the first black Captain America. His story will soon continue in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’.
