Miko pays a dividend | Economy

Despite the loss recorded by the company, Miko’s board proposed a one-time dividend increase of €2.62 gross per share. Our EBITDA and financial situation is healthy.

Since the sale of its plastic packaging division in 2021, Mico has only been active as a supplier of coffee services, including in businesses and the catering industry. The coffee company has seen sales of these coffee services grow by more than 82 percent to €267 million in 2022, thanks in part to higher sales in Scandinavia.

EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) also increased significantly: by almost a quarter, to €26 million. The company incurred a net loss: 0.6 million euros. Miko had to invest heavily in coffee machines. Further, the increased costs due to inflation can only be passed on to a limited extent.
