The season of Christmas officially begins this weekend at Disneyland Paris. The French garden immerses its visitors in the magical atmosphere of Christmas with fairy decorations, a festive Christmas parade with Disney characters, an enchanting evening scene and a music show filled with Christmas carols. A very special number this year.
“All I Want For Christmas Is…Mickey” reverberates at Disneyland Paris. Sung not by Mariah Carey, but by Minnie. The iconic mouse gives this world-hit pop diva a whole new look during the musical “Let’s Sing Christmas” on the Videopolis stage. Surprise for Mickey and the guests. Several times a day, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy celebrate the magic of carols.
Especially on the 30th anniversary of the French theme park, there is also the return of “Disney Dreams of Christmas” during the Christmas season. This evening scene combines fireworks, dancing fountains, and carols, along with displays of scenes that immerse guests in the world of Disney classics, such as “Frozen” and Pixar films, including “Toy Story.” More impressive than ever thanks to new LED technology on the roofs of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This show is preceded by Disney D-Light with illuminated drones in the sky.

Just like last year, there will be “Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade” again. This parade consists of five giant floats with Mickey and his friends, but also Disney Princesses and Santa Claus, accompanied by Tinkerbell, will be part of the party. Each wagon will make a perfect Christmas scene with traditional decorations. The show performers wear exquisite costumes tailored for the occasion.

There is no shortage of decoration during Disney’s Enchanted Christmas. No less than 78 Christmas trees and no less than 11,604 Christmas balls will immerse the garden in the atmosphere of Christmas. But the masterpiece is the 24-meter-high Christmas tree on Main Street, USA, on which more than 1,000 decorative items are hung. In addition, Disney characters are decked out in their most festive costumes for cozy get-togethers with guests, and there are chalets serving winter delicacies, including hot chocolate, pancakes and tartlets.
