Modern Warfare 3 requires at least 140GB of storage space

Call of Duty games usually require a lot of disk space, and Modern Warfare 3 is no different. According to the PlayStation Game Size Twitter account, on PS5, you need at least 140GB for the Call of Duty HQ app and the campaign alone.

PlayStation Game Size looks for all the new additions to the PlayStation Store. Call of Duty 01.30.000 update was recently discovered, with a download size of around 89,019GB. This is the file size of the all-new Call of Duty HQ, an app that acts as a hub for Call of Duty games and as a launcher for the latest titles.

To play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, you must download the 89GB app. You’ll then also have to download the campaign, which is divided into two parts. The first part is 18.042 GB and the second is 32.942 GB. Players in Europe will also have to download an additional 2GB file.

So, in total, you’ve already downloaded 140GB without multiplayer, which would take another 30-40GB. Add to that the day one patch and the game could cross the 200GB mark after several months of updates.
