Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard in October 2023 for a whopping $69 billion. So far, only Diablo IV has been added to Xbox Game Pass, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 announced as a day-one release on the service later this year.
Activision Blizzard has a lot of games that could all be on Xbox Game Pass. Think older Call of Duty games like Tony Hawk and Spyro the Dragon, StarCraft, Overwatch, Prototype, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Crash Bandicoot. Activision has also made several licensed games in the past like Wolverine and Spider-Man. High Moon Studios has also released some great Transformers action games in the past, like Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
It looks like we’ll finally be seeing more games from Activision Blizzard on Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks and months. This claims aXtas1s Expoter Forum MemberAccording to the leaker, Microsoft will release Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on Xbox Game Pass in August. This is a new collection of the first three Crash Bandicoot games, Crash Bandicoot (1996), Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back (1997), and Crash Bandicoot: Warped (1998). The leaker says that Tony Hawk 1+2 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy will appear on Xbox Game Pass next.
“The name is Crash N’Sane Trilogy, and it will be available on Game Pass sometime in August (I don’t know if it will be playable via xCloud). Logically, I’m also looking forward to the arrival of Tony Hawk 1+2 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which I know are coming very soon but I can’t guarantee they will hit the service in the same month.
Well-known games journalist Jez Corden from Windows Central says the rumors are true and we’ll be seeing more games from Activision Blizzard on Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks and months.
