Motorola has a foldable this week Moto Razr 2022 announced, but we’ve also seen the Moto X30 Pro. The smartphone, which will likely be called Edge 30 Ultra in Europe, has a 200MP camera.
The Motorola Moto X30 Pro is the first smartphone to use the Samsung HP1 sensor. This sensor has a resolution of 200 megapixels, but in low light it combines 16 pixels from the sensor into a single pixel in the image. This leaves 2.56 micrometers of pixels, resulting in a 12.5-megapixel image. In a lot of light, the sensor combines four pixels into one, resulting in a resolution of 50 megapixels. In a lot of light, the pixels don’t merge and you can actually take 200MP photos.
In addition to the main lens, we find a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The selfie camera has a resolution of 60 MP.
The other specs are also high quality. For example, the Moto X30 Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 256GB of storage. Or 512 GB, and a 4,610 mAh battery with support for 125 watts of speed. Shipping.
The Moto X30 Pro gets a suggested retail price of 3,700 yuan, converted around 530 euros. Rumors say that later the smartphone will also come to Europe under the name Edge 30 Ultra.
