We knew we’d go back to Poperinge one day, but thought we wouldn’t make the move until we were retired,” says Neil, who is married to Eric van Hoy. With her family, Nell moved to her parental home. “We divided the house into two parts. My mom, Nola Deruyter, lives in one half and we live in the other.
