Netflix just released its first look at William the Bull‘s Pinocchio. This will be his first ever animated movie and in the first pictures we see Sebastian J Cricket, of which Ewan McGregor He expressed.
It is the cricket that lived in the wooden heart of Pinocchio, the precursor to the magical story. Del Toro co-creates the film with Jim Henson and ShadowMachine. It is a stop-motion movie from Carlo Collodi’s book.

Del Toro said in 2018 when Netflix announced the movie: “No art form has affected my life and work as much as animation, and no character in history has such a deep personal connection to me as Pinocchio.”
“In our story, Pinocchio is an innocent soul with a father who cares about him, lost in a world he doesn’t understand. He embarks on an extraordinary journey that leaves him with a deeper understanding of his father and the real world. I wanted to make this movie for as long as I can remember. After the amazing experience we had with Trollhunters, I I am grateful that the talented team at Netflix are giving this opportunity of a lifetime to introduce the audience to my version of this weird doll-turned-real boy.”
