European Championship Qualifiers
The European Championship looks a long way from Norway with 1 out of 9 in qualifying. Sharpshooter Erling Haaland had put the Norwegians on their way to victory, but after he was substituted, the house of cards collapsed.
With 6 out of 6 for Scotland as well as Spain in their group, Norway were desperate to win the qualifiers.
The Norwegians had to fight for an hour, but they could still count on Erling Braut Haaland. The Norwegian killer for Manchester City scored his 54th goal this season, after a mistake by Ryan Porteous.
The work is over, national coach Stahl Solbakken believes, so he brought Haaland to the sidelines in the 84th minute. But this is how he removed the mainstay of his team.
Barely after 3 minutes Lyndon Dykes equalized and after another 2 minutes Kenny McClain scored again. Scotland seems to be on its way to the European Championship with 9 of 9, for Norway the search for a European Championship ticket has become very difficult.
