Tomorrow afternoon, the streets will be deserted, as everyone with a Netflix subscription will be glued to their TV for Eddie Murphy’s return as Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop 4.
Okay, this is of course a bit of an exaggeration, but there are a lot of fans looking forward to Wednesday. As a preview, the streaming service has put the first 5 minutes online for those who really can’t wait.
Glenn Frey’s musical return with The Heat Is On
We see Axel driving his original car through the streets of Detroit, observing people, greeting his colleagues and pointing fingers at potential lawbreakers. He laughs at the cruel interaction that proves that Axel is still a man of the people after all these years.
Eventually he finds his way to a hockey game where he investigates a possible robbery and meets a fellow player. However, he has more on his mind than a ballet of sticks, ice and cold competition.
