In Serie A, Milan secured their fourth and final ticket to the Champions League. The Rossoneri are sure of a place in the top four thanks to a win over their direct rivals Juventus.
Juventus recently had to hand over 10 points due to accounting fraud, but still claims the Champions League. Before that, it had to be won internally on Sunday evening against Milan, the last remaining contender for the top four.
But the host team was not on schedule and Milan striker Giro put his team ahead with a powerful header before the end of the first half.
Also in the second half, Juventus were unable to get the guests into trouble. Champions League with AC Milan, with Origi and Salimaekers as substitutes. Juventus will be excluded from Serie A football for the first time since 2011.
