Opel Corsa Hybrid prices: more for more

An additional €1,850 for low consumption and the automatic transmission

Before Opel announces itself, AutoWeek can tell you the prices of the Opel Corsa Hybrid. The mild-hybrid Opel Corsa is of course more expensive than versions with a conventional petrol engine, but for your extra money you can get an automatic transmission and a car that consumes less.

Until now, the Opel Corsa was only available with conventional petrol engines And as an electric Corsa with fully electric motors. Mild hybrid gasoline engines are now being added. The Opel Corsa Hybrid – as the mild hybrid variants are called – is available in two power variants and has a starting price of €27,149.

For $27,000, you get an Opel Corsa Hybrid with the 100 hp 1.2 Turbo Hybrid, available as an unnamed base version. This will cost you €1,850 more than a similarly equipped Opel Corsa with a 100 PS 1.2 Turbo conventional hybrid engine with manual gearbox (€25,299), and for an extra €1,850 you'll take advantage of the benefits offered by the mild-mannered model. – Includes a hybrid propulsion system. For example, the Corsa Hybrid has a six-speed automatic transmission as standard, and a dual-clutch transmission houses a 28 PS and 55 Nm electric motor. The mild Corsa Hybrid model is more economical than the Corsa with a conventional 100 hp 1.2 engine. The average consumption of the 100 hp Corsa Hybrid is 4.5-4.6 l/100 km, and the Corsa 1.2 Turbo (100 hp) 5.1-5.4 l/100 km. The 100 hp Corsa Hybrid is also available in the Corsa GS model and costs €29,349 in this form.

The Opel Corsa with 130 hp and non-mild hybrid 1.2 will be discontinued. There will be a mild hybrid Opel Corsa that produces 136 horsepower. It is available as a GS version and costs € 29,949 in this configuration. It is also available as a final version (€33,349). The 136 hp Corsa Hybrid mild hybrid averages 4.7-4.8 l/100 km and is therefore also lower than that of the petrol versions without electric assistance.

You can get into an Opel Corsa for a starting price of 24,149 euros. For this money you get a Corsa with a 1.2 turbo engine with 75 hp. The 136 hp Opel Corsa Electric is available from €34,999. A long-range Corsa Electric with 156bhp, a more efficient and slightly larger battery pack changes owners from €37,999.
