It’s no coincidence, because Halberstadt wanted to go first creeps film. Those rights turned out to be very expensive, so she ended up with a story Stinky wrote about eight-year-old Babs who got the gift of her life. A grandfather she never knew suddenly reappears in her life and presents her with a piglet for her ninth birthday. Babs falls in love instantly, but her neurotic mother has a hard time with such a constantly farting creature and does its thing at the most unexpected moment. She threatens to send Knorr away. The greatest danger to a pig comes from another person.
when watching Oink Do you think every now and then about the adventures of Timmy the Sheep Timmy Timesfilms from Aardman Animations, but Halberstadt’s is a little less absurd, less British, and a little less so. The filmmaker manages really well to deliver a very smooth narrative, which she also achieves with a good dose of childlike innocence and infectious humor. His international success has proven that it works Oink. We can even expect a prequel in a few years. So hurry to the halls with your offspring.
