No official release date has been announced for the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle documentary. Unofficially, it was reported that the film was originally scheduled for “December of this year,” shortly after the release of the new and fifth seasons of the Netflix series “The Crown.” But it appears the streaming service has changed its mind, due to all the hype surrounding the historical drama series. The series has been heavily criticized in recent weeks, because it shows, among other things, how things turned out between Charles and Princess Diana. Especially the fact that they’ve come up with this one, now that Prince Charles is trying to find his way as a brand new monarch, many fans and critics don’t find it very elegant.
In addition, Harry and Meghan themselves are no longer keen on releasing their “Flying on the Wall” documentary. After the Queen’s death, they seemed to have doubts about some of the things that were said and wanted to make some amends. According to rumors, the couple tried to delay the release as much as possible, but to no avail. Page Six announces that the documentary, whose title remains a closely guarded secret, will debut on streaming platform Netflix on December 8th.
