Spain’s Princess Leonor is making her first working visit abroad today. The 18-year-old is alone in Portugal and is wearing a powerful blazer red suit for the special day. See photos in this article.
It is no small feat to go on a business trip abroad alone at the age of 18. Princess Leonor is doing it with alacrity today. The eldest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia boards the plane after an official farewell ceremony in Madrid. She will then land in Portugal, where she will be received by President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa at the Belém Palace in Lisbon. The Portuguese president said earlier that choosing Portugal as the destination for Leonor’s first official business trip abroad “strengthens the bonds of brotherhood” between the two countries.
Power suit
