During the presentation, Samsung stated that this will benefit the healthy use of smartphones. Because you don’t have to unlock your phone when you get every notification. For example, you can quickly reply to a message via the small screen. The advantage of this is that you don’t instantly get caught up in endless social media consumption. The act of revealing raises that threshold.
But not everything is possible on the small screen. You can only use most applications after unlocking the device. You can actually run apps on the small screen via third-party conversions and apps. But there are no official solutions for using X (Twitter) or Instagram, for example, yet.
Then the question is whether you want it. For example, you can watch YouTube on the small screen, but it makes more sense to do it on the larger screen indoors.

Selfies with the best cameras
Another advantage of the screen is that you can easily take selfies with the main cameras, as you instantly see a preview. The folded phone format might also be useful for vloggers.
The cameras usually take great photos, but don’t expect Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus or Ultra quality. On the outside, the Flip 5 has a wide-angle and standard lens (12MP).
You can digitally zoom in up to ten times, but you’ll quickly lose quality. Portrait mode isn’t perfect either, the software doesn’t always know exactly what should be fuzzy in a photo. Inside there is another selfie camera (10 megapixel), which is particularly suitable for video calls.
