MusicTomorrowland and Rock Werchter unite for an amazing collaboration. The two organizations are introducing a new two-day festival called CORE. The first edition will take place at the end of May in the Ossegem park in Brussels, where Café Couleur will also take place. The organization promises a mix of quality indie, hip-hop, electronica, hyperpop and alternative dance, along with plenty of art and a “great dining experience”.
The festival season in Brussels will begin on May 27-28 with the all-new CORE Festival. At the foot of the Atomium, there will be four stages, spread over the Usagem Park, where music lovers can enjoy a more alternative musical genre for two days. The festival mentions “a mix of quality indie, hip-hop, electronica, hyperpop and alternative dance” in an intimate green environment. The lineup has not yet been announced.

The organization says it wants to stimulate every sense of the new festival. It seems that “nature, music and art form the heart of the whole experience”. There will be many artistic, acoustic and light installations on site. Culinary festival goers will also get their money’s worth, as the organization promises a “great dining experience”.
Organizations Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter have set a high bar, as they hope to receive 25,000 visitors per day. Attendance at Belgian and international festivals is expected. If you want to go to the festival, you will have to dig a little deeper into your pockets. A one-day ticket is available from 67 euros, a weekend ticket from 123 euros. The organization will also offer VIP tickets and overnight hotel packages.
Pre-sales begin February 23, and general ticket sales begin February 24. Pre-registration is now possible via corefestival.com. It is not yet clear when the squad will be announced.
