Today was a great day for Belgian women's football. RSC Anderlecht faced YLA at home. It was a very smooth victory in Brussels.
More than 2500 fans
It was a big day because there were 2,613 fans (4,000 initially registered) in the stands. This was a record for the Lotto Super League. A very beautiful match was presented to the fans in attendance. At least Brussels fans. Anderlecht were master and master.
Laura Deleuze made it 1-0 for the national champions 25 minutes later with a free kick. About eight minutes later, Stefania Vatavo made it 2-0. Sarah Wintans made it 3-0 before halftime. So it was a healthy run for Anderlecht.
RSCA boosts title ambitions
After coffee Wijnants widened the score slightly: 4-0. The game was played quickly. Sakina Ouzraoui added more salt to YLA's wound when she made the score 5-0. That was also the final result.
The RSCA will soon set the tone for these qualifiers, competing for the national title with Standard Fémina and OH Leuven.
