Is there something wrong with Belarusian President Lukashenko? Rumors about this are increasing. He was in Moscow last Tuesday for the annual Victory Day military parade. It didn’t look good after that.
The president looked very tired and was reportedly a little unsteady on his feet. A bandage can also be seen on his right hand. Lukashenko was the only one who was taken from the stands to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in a car, a distance of about 300 meters, while Russian President Vladimir Putin walked along with the leaders of several other countries.
Afterwards, Lukashenko reportedly sent his cat to lunch with Putin and other leaders. After laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the president is said to have been taken directly to the airport and back to Belarus.
Back in Belarus, he attended a celebration in the capital, Minsk, marking Victory Day itself. But he wouldn’t have been seen for days after that, and today he wasn’t present at a ceremony where he had always made a speech for the past 29 years.
