Stichting Samen tegen Kanker Valkenswaard is once again running a walking tour. This event raises money for cancer research.
It’s been almost a year since the Stichting Samen tegen Kanker Valkenswaard organized the energy event. Watch the video at the bottom of this article. Many Valkenswaarders took part in this. As runners, as volunteers, as sponsors or as spectators. The energy event is an event that takes place every three years. In the intervening years they organized a walking tour to literally “keep up the pace”.
Taking place on Sunday, August 25, this event will provide an opportunity to come together and show support for an important cause.

- Starting location: War of the Loreva in Valkenswaard
- Start time: Between 10am and 12pm
- Distances: 6, 10, 20 km; there is also a special path for wheelchair and mobility scooter users.
Costs and Registration
Before the walk you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or orange juice. At the beginning you will be given a bottle of water and a piece of fruit. This is included in the price. After the walk there will be a pleasant encounter with musical accompaniment by a DJ, where you can request songs for 1 euro.
“We hope there will be a great turnout and look forward to having a great day with you as we commit to the fight against cancer,” the organization says.
