The attacks were allegedly carried out by “kamikazedrons” with explosives, reports the Kyiv Independent newspaper. The military governor of the Kyiv region, Oleksi Kuleba, says so on Telegram. It is not clear exactly where this was implemented. Quiliba also did not disclose whether there were any deaths or injuries. He said rescuers are already at the scene.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevich, said that the Russians also carried out air raids on his city at night. He said the city had been subjected to a “mass bombardment”. It would have hit a five-story apartment building, the two upper floors of which were completely destroyed. There is no information yet on possible casualties, but aid workers are already at the scene.
More than 40 Ukrainian settlements and towns have been hit by Russian missiles in the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Ukrainian Air Force was also said to have carried out 32 attacks on Russian targets.
World War III
Alexander Venediktov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, again in an interview with the Russian state news agency TASS, warned that the Third World War would break out if Ukraine joined NATO. Venediktov said: “Kyiv is well aware that such a step is a guarantee of further escalation of the Third World War.” He also reiterated Russia’s position that, with the help of Ukraine, the West is a “direct party to the conflict.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at the end of September that his country was officially “a expedited entry to NATO.
