Ryan Reynolds Shares Colonoscopy: ‘Save Lives By Sharing The Camera That Pushed My Ass’ | Famous People

Famous PeopleRyan Reynolds, 45, underwent a colonoscopy and a ‘malignant tumor’ was found in his colon. The Deadpool actor filmed the entire procedure to encourage people – especially men – to undergo such an examination.

In collaboration with Lead From Behind, a colon cancer awareness organization, 45-year-old Ryan Reynolds was photographed with a colonoscopy. It is a visual examination in which the inside of the large intestine and the last part of the small intestine are warmly examined, through a flexible tube in the patient’s buttocks.

A procedure that appears to be a major taboo. “Normally I wouldn’t have a medical procedure on camera and then share it,” says Ryan. “But I think it’s very important to draw attention to a procedure that saves lives. So my motivation to share with you is that the camera has been pushed up my ass,” the actor said of the filmed colonoscopy.

By the way, Reynolds is lucky to have participated in the awareness campaign. Because during the operation, the doctor discovered that the actor had a “highly malignant tumor” on the right side of his colon, which he immediately removed. “This could have potentially saved your life. I’m not kidding, and I’m not overly dramatic,” the doctor confirmed as he showed Ryan pictures of the tapestry. He continued, “That is exactly the reason for doing it. You had no symptoms.”
