Samsung comes with 4K ViewFinity displays

Samsung quickly shows the target of this new screen. The name combines view and infinity, and they associate it with “the value of an infinite viewing experience.” The new monitors should set a new standard for professional monitors.

Samsung ViewFinity S8

The Samsung ViewFinity S8 is available in two sizes: 32-inch and 27-inch diagonal. The IPS screen has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a color gamut of 98% DCI-P3. This is enhanced by DisplayHDR 600 for Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) for greater range, resolution, and nuances. Colors are factory calibrated, so you get a true representation. The monitor has been validated by PANTONE, ensuring that the monitor displays all 2,000 unique PANTONE colors, as well as the newly added 110 skin tones.

Workflow with a matte screen

What makes the screen unique is the matte screen, which is the world’s first UL 4 validated screen. This reduces reflections so much that you no longer need a screen covering for good color reproduction. This allows you to convert it from horizontal use to vertical use without any problems. ViewFinity S8 also has some great features for an efficient workflow. For example, you can use it as an all-in-one base for desktop or laptop computers, connect the display with a single USB Type-C cable for display signals, 10Gbps data transfer and fast charging with up to 90W of power. Rotate, tilt, and raise or lower the monitor on the built-in VESA monitor base.

The new Samsung ViewFinity S8 will be available worldwide from the end of June.
