Sieg De Doncker (Koen Peyskens) and Sandrine (Véronique Van den Bossche) play a married couple in “Family”. Quinn snatched Veronique from his half-brother Lars (Curt Rogers), but now he notices her love is cooling down a bit. Quinn can’t handle that and that’s why he didn’t save her. He hit his partner hard. So Sieg took to his Instagram page to explain a few things.
He began by saying, “After the intense scenes in Family, maybe it’s not a bad idea to post this.” “Quinn’s character is so far from who I really am! Sandrine and I get along really well in real life too!! For us that’s acting but we’re well aware that sometimes that’s reality. If you ever find yourself in this situation, you can always call 1712.”
Sandrine helps her colleague. “It looks terrifyingly real on TV. Luckily, you’re a decent man in ‘real life,’” she writes with the hashtags “wijdoenmaaralsof” and “playing the bad guy.” Q-DJ Maureen Vanherberghen (35), De Doncker’s partner, also replies In real life, she writes: “In real life, the opposite is true, my wonderful partner in crime.”
