Lizzo, 35, was removed from the list of prospects shortly after several allegations of misconduct, according to the source who works for the NFL. However, the American singer had a great opportunity to perform during the Super Bowl in 2024. The world-famous halftime show is one of the biggest television moments in the United States. In the past, the biggest stars have already passed, including Rihanna, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, and The Weeknd.
The “About Damn Time” singer is currently under fire after three backup dancers (Ariana Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noel Rodriguez) sued her earlier this month for sexual misconduct, creating a hostile work environment and body shaming. In addition, the singer was treating her black dancers differently from her white team members and fired a dancer to gain weight.
Earlier this week, six new complaints were received about Lizzo, relating to a “sexually charged environment” and failure to pay employees. The allegations were made by the singer’s former employees, who worked on the show Lizzo Watch out for the big Grrrls. Lizzo herself was at the helm of the programme, both as producer and presenter.
