Sjoerd den Daas will be the new NOS correspondent in Washington. Ten Das is currently working as a correspondent for NOS in Beijing. His first major assignment was covering the November presidential election in the United States.

Ten Das, 37, started at NOS in 2019 as a correspondent for China and the rest of East Asia. Prior to that, he was active in the area for several years for other clients. He will leave Beijing in August and return to the Netherlands for a few months before heading to Washington.
