Ubisoft’s multiplayer pirate game Skull and Bones has suffered another setback and has been delayed once again (we’ve already lost track of how many delays there have been). The game, which has been in development since 2013, is now scheduled to be released sometime between January and April 2024 instead of the end of this year.
Unfortunately, Skull and Bones’ Caribbean adventures and naval battles aren’t the only thing we have to wait for, as another delay has also been confirmed – although the title has not been specified. Ubisoft He specifies Just that “big game” is that it should have been issued in this fiscal year (which ends March 31, 2024) and says it will instead be issued in the next fiscal year (from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025). The reason behind this is that Ubisoft says it can achieve its financial goals without launching the game this fiscal year.
Star Wars Outlaws could fit that description and could be the game they’re talking about. It is an open world game with a female character named Kai Face, reminiscent of Han Solo. Developed by Swedish studio Massive Entertainment, it is said to offer massive, hand-crafted planets to explore.
Are you surprised that Skull and Bones has been postponed again, and what title do you think Ubisoft will postpone for tactical reasons?
