After the first performances and photos of the amplifiers that were then brought to life under the code name Fury Sonos Now the official announcement has been made. The Sonos Ray It will hit the market on June 7 for $279 or $299, making it more expensive than expected.
The cheapest soundbar from Sonos does not have HDMI, so the user has to rely on an optical cable. There is also no support for Dolby Atmos, only Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround. Sonos tuned two high-end tweeters, two mid-woofers and a bass system with Truplay, which adjusts settings to the room in which the speaker is placed.
With no built-in microphone, voice control relies on the brand’s smart speakers that can be easily hooked up. In addition to the relatively low price point, the compressibility of the beam is also a plus. The chassis measures 71 x 559 x 95 mm and can be hung horizontally or vertically. A black and white version will be available next month.
Speaking of Colors: Portable Wireless Sonos Room Updated with 3 new colors. In addition to being black and white neutrals, orange, blue, and olive green are now also options. From June 1, Sonos Voice Control will be available on the speakers, which are available for €199 each.
