The Euromillions jackpot fell on September 1, the French lottery “La Française des Jeux” (FDJ) announced a few days ago. “The payment will be made in the coming days,” FDJ said. According to the organization, the 50-year-old winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, has recently felt anxious because she was recently expelled. Britton took her chance at winning the Euromillions “by chance” and used the “flash system”, in which a set of random numbers is chosen. She didn’t know exactly how much the jackpot was, so when she came to exchange the winning ticket, she thought she had won “only a few dozen euros”. It was only after she returned home that she realized how rich she was.
“I spent several minutes staring at my numbers and the winning numbers,” says the winner. Since then, she says she has protected the note with her life. “I even mowed the lawn with my handbag over my shoulder,” she jokes. “They say I’m more likely to be struck by lightning than to win the lottery, but I guess fate decided otherwise.”
French women already know what to do with money. “My dream is to buy a house,” he says. In addition, the lucky girl wants to do volunteer work and travel a lot, she says.
