celebritiesBill Maher, host of the HBO talk show Real Time, criticized Jada Pinkett Smith. The comedian said that she “better wear a wig like the rest of Hollywood,” and that she should be “happy that alopecia is her only medical problem.”
Maher responded to the incident during the Academy Awards, in which Will Smith – Jada’s husband – hit presenter Chris Rock in the face. He did so after Chris made an inappropriate joke about Jada’s illness. Talk about her “GI Jane” haircut, when a woman was forced to shave her hair due to alopecia areata – a disease that causes her hair to fall out. As a result, she says, she has been depressed for a long time, because bald women are viewed strangely in today’s society.
Maher laughed during his latest broadcast: “Jada had to wear a wig like the rest of Hollywood and almost all of the Oscars guests!” “And she has to thank God that alopecia is her only medical problem. It is not life threatening. It is part of aging for everyone.”
So he disagrees with Will Smith’s actions, as well as the reaction of those present. You will receive a warm welcome from Oscar’s guests. “They always talk about petty aggression and things like that,” he said. “But someone who attacked someone right in front of him, would he give a big clap? This indicates that their moral compass has gone completely crazy.”
Maher received heavy criticism on the Internet for being criticized in earnest. Baldness is different for a woman than for a man. Also: “What Will Smith did was wrong, but if you can’t figure out why Chris Rock’s joke is wrong, you’re not much better.”
