Antwerp beats Inter and Milan in battle for Genk Dumoh’s talent
R. Antwerp FC is about to make another incoming transfer. The Great Old hopes to complete the arrival of Pierre Duomo, 17-year-old attacking midfielder from RC Genk, today.
The Dwomoh is known to be a wonderfully gifted with great feet, but also with a solid guide. For example, last season in RC Genk was sent to Team B after a small problem. Then, something broke on both sides. Dwomoh, a young producer from Anderlecht who moved to Limburg at the age of 13, absolutely wanted to play, and Genk couldn’t give him that guarantee. Moving away from the skinny youth international was the best solution.
A multi-year contract awaits him at De Boswell, earlier this summer both Inter and AC Milan showed a keen interest in Douma. However, it now appears to be heading towards the brown owl. (MVS/KDZ)
Lyon agree in principle with Liverpool on the arrival of Shaqiri
Olympique Lyonnais announced on Sunday evening that it had reached a preliminary agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri. Here’s what Jason Denayer’s team had to say.
Shaqiri, 29, played 96 international matches with the Swiss national team, and the French team was eliminated in the eighth finals of the last European Championship.
The Swiss national team also competed in three editions of the World Cup (2010, 2014, 2018) and the 2016 European Championship. The midfielder played in the past with Basel, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Stoke City and Liverpool, where he played football since 2018.
