Tears for Metejoor and the first boy for K3: The best recent Blind Auditions at The Voice Kids | showbiz

TVNext week, The Voice Kids will take it to a higher level. But before the fights began, the teams of coaches Duncan Lawrence, Laura Tesoro, K3 and Metegor had to be completed. Thus, the competition between coaches increased dramatically.

“Now everyone knows very well what they want and it’s last places, so it’s starting to get more and more exciting. I think we’ll have to fight more. I myself am still looking for a real strong voice,” says Laura. Coach Duncan in particular will have to think carefully: “I can only accept one candidate, and that’s tough!”

Lise (13, Wuustwezel) was allowed to take her chance on The Voice Kids on Friday. During her Blind Audition, she knows how trainer Metejoor really touches with her choice of James Arthur’s “Say You Wn’t Let Go.” “This song means a lot to me. I lost one of my best friends and I covered this song for him,” said emotional Metegor.

Candidate Jules (14 years old, Artcilar) dreamed all her life of ending up on the stage of “The Voice Kids”. She got her love of music from her father at a young age: “My dad is DJ MC Six” apparently. “He does rap and percussion and he actually played in Pukkelpop. That’s really cool. He always said, ‘Just have fun, that’s all that matters.'” Performed “Let It Go” by James Bay. Finally, Laura and K3 turned around for her. “I love the hoarseness in your voice,” Laura says. “I was there right away, since your first sentence.” So Jules chose Laura Tesoro.

Ten-year-old Lars has no shortage of theatrical experience. He played in the musical “40-45” from Studio 100 and loves to be on stage. He takes his chance with Unity’s “best friends”. Duncan Laurence and K3 turn around and Lars has to recover from that. Even tears are shed. “Sorry we kept you waiting so long,” says Hanne of K3. “We were just having fun.” Duncan also notes that he really enjoyed testing Lars. In the end, the boy chose K3, giving them the first boy on their team.

Lola (13, Newmonster) performs Ray Charles’ Hit The Road Jack, the first song she could ever play entirely on piano. According to her mother, she has a voice “from the past”, but can this voice also charm coaches? Obviously yes, because they all turn around for her and even give Lola a standing ovation. “You have such a unique voice. The fact that at thirteen you turn to the band and sign up and take the lead…that’s what I want on my team,” Duncan says. He definitely convinces Lola of that, because she chose Duncan.

Adventurous Juliet (12, Assebroek) is a sea scout and regularly goes sailing and kayaking with her friends. She also plays the piano, something she also does while auditioning for the blind on Demi Lovato’s “Warrior” notes. Laura Tesoro is the only one who turns around. “It’s so cool to sit behind that piano and sing a song to Demi Lovato like it’s nothing.”
