It was a shock Saturday during the training match between Lindemann Aalst and Grinard Masek. 19-year-old Martin Perrin collapsed in the second set, but he’s already on the mend. The club confirmed this in a message on its website.
Maaseik went to Aalst to finish the party match, but it had an abrupt end. At the start of the second set, Libero Martin Perrin suddenly collapsed for no apparent reason. “Our libero has been revived immediately,” Maaseik confirms in a message on the club’s website. “When he was taken to the hospital, his condition was already stable. Shortly after he arrived at the hospital he reassured us with the following message (in English, editor). “I’m in good hands and feeling better! Hope to see you again soon, friends. I love you.”
“Martin’s mother, who was present at the match, and all club members would like to thank the volunteers from Aalst and the emergency doctor for their quick and effective work. And of course we wish Martin a speedy and full recovery.” Further investigations should show exactly what happened to Martin.
