A passerby helped a policewoman in a difficult situation in Willoughby, Ohio, USA. The lady had just stopped a man who was driving too fast, even though the speed demon wasn’t intending to catch him completely. Instead, he ignored the officer’s instructions, shouted at her and a conflict broke out.

Only when some eyewitnesses saw the confrontation taking place, the situation was brought under control. A man immediately rushed toward the suspect to knock him to the ground. Together with the officer and three other civilians, they managed to overpower him and handcuff him.
The local police chief, Jim Schultz, thanked passersby via Facebook for their brave intervention. “I am so proud of our community and the support we receive every day,” he wrote. The aggressive man is accused of assaulting a policeman, speeding and not wearing a seat belt.
