DAF President Harry Walters has been promoted to US parent company Paccar. Walters holds a senior position at a parent company in the United States.
Walters has been employed by the DAF for 26 years. In 2018, he was appointed president of the company. Walters fulfilled that position well, and Packer wanted to bring him to the United States. In the United States, he will focus on the powertrain and electrification of vehicles used in Paccar vehicles around the world.
Walters is not the first DAF CEO to work on the other side of the ocean. Earlier, DAF President Harry Shippers switched to the parent company. Schippers is now the financial director of Paccar.
Prosperous
The DAF led by Walters traveled. By 2021, under his leadership, the company would have sold 60,000 trucks worldwide, a figure that would have been higher if there had been no shortage of chips in the global market.
Under the leadership of Walters, DAF introduced the new generation trucks XF, XG and XG +. The new trucks were well received.
Next
Walters will be won by Harold Seidel in the DAF. Seidel has been with DAF since 2001 and has been the truck manufacturer’s financial director since 2017. Seattle should report to Finance Director Harry Shippers.
