A close sister to the Volvo EX30 and Smart #1 electric models
The Netherlands is one of the first countries where the new brand of Volvo parent company Geely settled. At the end of this year, Zeekr will spread its wings in our country and the compact electric Zeekr X will be the first model to go on sale here. Thanks to AutoWeek reader Ludo Peeters, we can now view Zeekr X up close. Only in the Netherlands. Thank you Ludo!
The Netherlands, along with Sweden, is one of the first two European countries where the young Geely brand Zeekr will be active. Zeekr is coming our way in the last quarter of this year. The Zeekr 001 electric shooting brake opens the assault on the Dutch EV market along with the X. The Zeekr X is therefore only on sale at the end of this year, but thanks to AutoWeek reader Ludo Peeters, the car can already be seen in the Netherlands. It stopped casually at the Van der Valk Hotel along the A4 near Delft.
The logos and badges are still registered and car testThe decals on the bottom of the doors and on the bottom of the green Zeekr X show that this is still a pre-production version, but the appearance remains the same as we see here. Zeekr X is an electric crossover with a length of 4.45 meters and a wheelbase of 2.75 meters. Like its smart counterpart Geely #1 and #3 and the upcoming Volvo EX30, it is on the Geely SEA platform. The Smart #1 is available with a 66-kWh battery and a single 272-hp electric motor, or with two 428-hp units together. We expect comparable hardware in the Volvo EX30 and in the Zeekr X. Count on a range of about 450 kilometers.
