Fans have been begging for it for years, and it finally happened. Thirty years after the last scene, legendary couple Scott and Charlene are back. So are the interpreters Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan (both 53).
The final episode of the Australian series will be shown on screens in Great Britain and Australia on August 1. After 37 years and 8,815 episodes, the plug is pulled from the series. They’ve been working really hard the past few weeks toward an amazing finish, and they seem to have succeeded.
An image of a script brochure appeared on the soap’s official Twitter account, but it was the names under the chain’s logo that grabbed all the attention.
“Scott and Charlene are the divorced couple in neighborhood history,” said producer Jason Herbison. “I wouldn’t feel comfortable if the series ended without them. We are so happy to have Jason and Kylie around came home To be part of a special segment at the conclusion of our series.”
The shooting is already over. “It was a very emotional event for us, but it was also a very emotional one for them and I’m sure this clip will soon affect viewers as well.”
Unknown nobles
Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan were gentle outsiders when they co-starred in the series in 1986. Thanks to their presence, the series, which was initially canceled by another channel even after only 170 episodes, suddenly became a worldwide success. In Great Britain, 20 million Britons were willing to take Ramsay Street experiences every day.
For Kylie and Jason, Neighbors was the starting point of their music career. Together they took the song Specially for you In , which scored big in the charts. Minogue later achieved international success and continues to make best-selling albums today. Donovan has focused primarily on theater work for the past two decades. Although they have disappeared from the series since 1989, their former presence has taken on iconic proportions.

Neighbour It will stop because Channel 5 has decided not to pay for the vast majority of production. Although the series comes from Australia, the British funded the series almost entirely for 15 years. A search was conducted for a buyer but was not found.
Since we are 400 episodes behind in our country, we will only see the final on VTM 2 at the end of 2023.
