LG stated that the LG Ultra Gear 49GR85DC Screen will be released in Europe later this month. The screen size is 49 inches and the suggested retail price is €1,200.
The screen has an aspect ratio of 32:9 and a refresh rate of 240Hz. The LG 49GR85DC is also VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified, has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, and has a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
According to the manufacturer, all of this guarantees vibrant colors, sharp images, and polished blacks. The display also includes a backlit LED Hexagon, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection.
Finally, there is also support for DTS Headphone:X, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), and Picture-by-Picture (PBP).
DTS Headphone:X lets you hear 3D sound with wired headphones. With Picture-in-Picture you can view the content from an externally connected device in a floating window and with Picture-by-Picture you can split the screen into two parts and you can work with multiple windows at the same time.
