VDK has launched a new savings account. The Ritme Savings Account carries an interest rate of 3.15 percent. This is also the most profitable savings account on the Belgian market.
Why is this important?
Due to the tightening of the European Central Bank's monetary policy, banks currently receive compensation of 4 percent on excess savings deposits they place with the monetary institution. Two years ago, they still had to pay penalty interest (-0.5 percent) on this.
