The long awaited trailer for Spider-Man: There’s no way home Currently it breaks a lot of pots on the web all over the world. Partly because of the content, but mainly because a leaked version of the video actually caused quite a stir last weekend. According to various American media, the leaked parts, with very poor quality, were circulated on TikTok and Twitter, among others.
Movie studio Sony – which now shares the rights to the Spider-Man films with Marvel/Disney – quickly jumped into action and the “fake trailer” was banned on all legitimate channels. Then the studio released the real-life trailer, although it was expected this week anyway.
Anyway, the disaster is fodder for the movie’s official Twitter channel to make jokes about it. For example, “OFFICIAL HD teaser*,” the account tweeted with the real trailer, referring to the poor quality of the leaked trailer. The channel also did Shout For those who see the trailer for the first time now.

Because at the end of the 2019 movie, not only is Spider-Man (Tom Holland) accused of killing Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), but his civilian identity is also revealed to the entire world. In the trailer we see how the residents suddenly see a villain in teenage boy Peter Parker.
But the real surprise to many fans – and the rumors confirmed to others – is the return of many of the great characters from previous films when other actors were still wearing the Spider-Man suit. For example, audience favorite Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2 (2004) appeared in the trailer, again played by actor Alfred Molina. In addition, there are many allusions to other supervillains such as Green Goblin, portrayed by Willem Dafoe in 2002.
On the official YouTube channel alone, the trailer was viewed over 14 million times in just four hours, and the #SpiderManNoWayHomeTrailer instantly topped the Twitter list.
The film will be released in theaters on December 15th.
