The Netherlands advanced to the quarterfinals of the World Cup after defeating the United States

The Netherlands beat the USA 3-1 in the eighth final of the World Cup in Qatar. Denzel Dumfries was the big man with a goal and two assists. Daly Blind also crowned his tournament handsomely. He was good for a goal and an assist.

America’s joy was short-lived as Blind reached Dumfries with a cross, who was able to work the ball completely free behind Turner at the far post. Xavi Simmons made his Orange debut but didn’t score too many goals. As a result, a clash in the quarter-finals against Argentina or Australia awaits the Dutch national team.
