The new free-to-play shooter The First Descendant has had an impressive launch with over 10 million players. That’s especially good for a brand new IP. However, the reception from the international gaming media isn’t entirely positive.
The first review scores are slowly but surely coming in and most of the scores are more than satisfactory. The First Descendant is getting mixed marks from the global gaming media, with 8 being the highest and 3 being the lowest. On Metacritic The First Descendant currently has an average score of 52 out of 100, which isn’t exactly great. However, this is a free-to-play game and should improve a bit with each update, so the developer could change that, especially with the large number of players.
