Charles, 75, was allowed to leave the hospital on Monday. He underwent surgery for an enlarged prostate and had to stay in a London clinic for three nights. Princess Kate left the same hospital last week after undergoing abdominal surgery, and no further details were revealed. While the entire country was worried about their health, it seems that Kate and Charles will also see benefits from their medical issues.
According to Ipsos polls, the favorability factor for both royals has risen by 3% since the news about their health became known. Queen Camilla's shares also rose by 3%.
Thus, Charles reaches 51% of Britons who explicitly support him. Kate has 61% of the population behind her.
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan's popularity is declining. Only 23% of the population have a positive image of Harry, a drop of 7%. Meghan has the support of just 18% of Britons, a further drop of 5%. The Sussexes only seem to have declined in recent years, while the British royals have become increasingly popular. This is remarkable, considering that Harry has done everything he can to tip the scales through interviews and his book “Spare,” among other things.
