The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has been quietly launched in Romania. It is not yet clear when the tablet will also be available in Belgium and the Netherlands.
After Samsung already introduced a refresh for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in 2022, it's time to bring it back for a second time. Samsung has quietly released the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) in Romania Released. As is the case in 2022, the South Korean brand left the design of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite unchanged. This time too, the tablet will have an aluminum casing.
Even the 10.4-inch LCD screen of the Tab S6 Lite (2024) is the same as before. This also applies to the 7,040 mAh battery, S Pen, and storage. The Tab S6 Lite (2024) comes standard with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Later there will also be a variant with 128GB storage and the same 4GB of RAM.
The most important innovation is the selected chipset. Samsung didn't mention specific details about the chipset on its website, but it will likely be the Exynos 1280 with a clock speed of 2.4GHz for the fastest computing cores. Naturally, the updated tablet also runs on the latest version of One UI (6.1), based on Android 14. It is not yet known how long the device will receive software updates.
Availability in Belgium
At the moment, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has only appeared on Samsung's Romanian website. It is not yet known if, when and at what price the tablet will be offered in Belgium and the Netherlands. The Romanian site only mentions the existence of the tablet. It is very likely that sales will start in just a few days or weeks.
In addition to the aforementioned storage configurations, buyers can also choose between a Wi-Fi or LTE version. There are two color options: gray and mint green.
