MovieOne of the romantic Christmas movies par excellence, The Holiday, is finally getting a sequel after seventeen years. That reports “The Sun”. Reportedly, nothing will be changed in the original cast and recordings will begin soon.
The new film is expected to shed light on the relationships between Cameron Diaz (50), Jude Law (49), Kate Winslet (47) and co-star Jack Black (53). They were also central to the original movie. Tell how Diaz and Winslet’s characters swap lives after a series of unfortunate experiences in their living environment. After eventually switching places, they find love in each other’s world.
The plan is to start filming the second part next year. These recordings will reportedly take place mainly in the United Kingdom and Europe. “It will be funny, touching and heartwarming,” a source confirms to The Sun.
Turnout
The original film cost a total of €81 million, but it has since collected €230 million. “The Holiday” has become a staple of the Christmas movie collection over the years and continues to delight millions of fans around the world.
